July’s Adaptive Eval Night: D&D, Multiplayer, and Gen Con

We wrapped up another Adaptive Eval Night at Butler Esports Park this past weekend. It was good seeing so many returning regulars catching up, and we had a solid turnout overall—especially in our tabletop section, which saw its largest group of players yet.

Tabletop and Video Games

The tabletop side of the room was busy all night. Dungeons & Dragons has really taken root over the last couple of months, and we had a steady group rolling dice, building out campaigns, and welcoming a few first-time players to the table.

On the video game side, Minecraft and Super Smash Bros. were the main draws. A lot of players spent the evening playing together, on consoles and PCs. More than anything, it was just a good chance for people to hang out and game together in an accessible space.
