September Adaptive Eval Night: D&D Adventures, New Gamers, and Breaking Barriers
We wrapped up another incredible Adaptive Eval Night at Butler Esports Park this past Saturday. It was wonderful to see so many returning families back in the room, along with some new faces, for an evening filled with gaming, connection, and great food.

D&D Campaigns, AAC Devices, and Breaking Barriers
The tabletop area was packed with action this month. Alongside our ongoing D&D campaign, we hosted a "Learn to Play" table where one of our new players learned the ropes of tabletop roleplaying using an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device. Seeing accessible tools bring people straight into the adventure is exactly what these nights are all about.
Over on the digital side, we were thrilled to welcome two new gamers to the space. Our team worked alongside them to customize their setups, helping break down technical barriers so they could jump right into the action.
Fortnite, Smash, and Community Play
We had everything going this past Saturday, from Fortnite and Roblox matches on the PC stations to competitive Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart races on the Switch, the energy in the room was high all night! Our gamers spent their time playing games, cheering each other on, and catching up over pizza and snacks.

Save the Date: Llama LAN 2027!
Looking ahead, we have a huge event on the horizon! Please Save the Date for Llama LAN 2027 on January 23rd and 24th. This will be our major fundraising event of the year, directly supporting our mission to keep accessible gaming technology free for our gamers, create custom adaptive controllers, and continue our Adaptive evaluation nights and community events. Mark your calendars—we can't wait to share more details soon!

Supporting Our Mission

These monthly evaluation nights are only possible thanks to our host, Butler Esports Park, our sponsors like Reel Pipe and Valve, and the generous individual donors who support our adaptive inventory.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past weekend. We look forward to seeing you all at the next evaluation night!
