We had an amazing night last Saturday working with some new friends and a few returning gamers! Butler was hopping as a basketball game had just ended and the Butler Esports Park was decorated for valentine's day. A lot of fun was had as we saw gamers working on their set ups to play fall guys, Marvel Rivals, Call of Duty, Roblox, and Mario Kart.

We had two new gamers come out and try to break down some barriers to gaming. We were able to utilize a quadstick to help Cody control his racer in Mario Kart. After some help setting up the device Cody was winning in no time. We were able to connect the quadstick to the switch and get good control out of it. We are excited to have Cody come back to play some more Mario Kart with us and his family!

We had another Cody with us as well. He is a fan of racing games, roblox, and so much more. We were able to get him to trial out a few adaptive tools including the PS access controller. He was able to demonstrate his one handed technique on the base Playstation controller. He dominates with his one handed technique and really seemed to prefer! Were hopeful Cody will keep coming to these events to show off his one handed skills!

Darius and Weston represented our returning gamers this month! Both were able to bring their adaptive devices/set ups with them to use while playing and both were able to bring family with them! Weston, his brothers, and some of our volunteers were able to squad up on some Marvel Rivals while Darius focused on honing his set up on COD. We hope to continue to work to optimize his joystick.

We were able to get some good pizza and snacks in while having a great turnout for this month! Thanks to Butler Esports for the awesome venue and hosting us. Thanks to our awesome sponsors, partners, and donors for making this possible! A Special Thanks to Butler Esports, Quantum Rehab, and Reel Pipe and Valve
