We had a great night last Saturday at Butler Esports Park working with 2 new gamers. We were able to overcome barriers to gaming using different adaptive devices and techniques! There was a lot of people, food, and gaming going on all night. Lots of friendships were made and we are super excited to have our gamers return and keep playing together each month at our event and in between the events.

We were able to get Weston to try out the 8BitDo Lite SE Wireless controller! He got in a few matches of Fortnite and Fall Guys and was killing it! He was able to play with his brothers and some of our volunteers. We are excited to have him join our monthly events in the future and get him gaming with others in our discord! We are especially excited about his energy and the fun that he brings!

Darius joined us to figure out a setup for Call of Duty. He has tried an XAC and PlayStation Access controller in the past. We were able to get things started by adding adaptive buttons and some joysticks with adaptive hand rests to his set up. We continued to add and adjust his set up to better suite him and we look forward to have him practice his set up to see how we can adjust it and adapt it further in the future. He initially started in the rifle range but we were able to watch him get some great results in CO: BO6 and Warzone. We are hopeful to squad up with him in the discord sometime and excited to see him back at our monthly eval nights in the future to keep gaming and hanging out with him.

Thanks again to Butler Esports, Quantum Rehab, and Polymaker for making this night possible!
